What is “Super Shit-arein”?

Why such a “dirty” word to describe this delicious spice? Well, it isn’t actually a dirty word in Yiddish. Chef Marla’s great grandmother cooked solely by the Yiddish “Shit-arein” method, which translated means, “to throw a little of this and a little of that” …. and it’s a method of cooking that she continues to use to this day.

“Phood on Main,” Chef Marla’s restaurant in Riverside, California, used to be the only place you could get these “Shits” for yourself. Oy Vey, that was such a problem! Now, you can simply visit our online store for ordering!

Check back often for updates and recipes for how to use these delicious, unique spices, and buy a few bottles for family, friends, and of course, yourself!
